You will see the following error message in H&R Block’s 2016  tax software if, while completing the Contributions to the CPP or QPP (Schedule 8) page, you entered an invalid date in the field labelled If you restarted your CPP contributions in 2016 (you revoked your election from a previous year), enter the date you completed the CPT30: Election to stop contributing to the Canada Pension Plan, or revocation of a prior election form:

The date you completed the CPT30 form to restart your CPP contributions must be between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016. Please correct the date you entered. [error code: 348]

How do I fix this?

To correct the error, enter the date on which you completed your CPT30 form into the designated field on the Schedule 8 page. The date you enter must be between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016.
