You will see the following error message on the ERRORS page in H&R Block’s 2016 tax software if, when completing form T5: Statement of investment income, you entered an amount in the additional amount field but did not select a corresponding box number from the dropdown menu:
You entered an amount for an additional box on your T5 slip. Please choose the box the amount is for from the Box drop-down menu or click the Delete link to delete the amount. [error code: 325]
How do I fix this?
To correct the error, select the box number that corresponds to the amount that you entered in the additional amount field from the dropdown menu. If you want to delete the amount entered, click the DELETE link to remove the entry.
Note: To enter your T5 slip into the software, go to the QUICK ENTRY tab and click on the QUICK SLIP icon. Enter "T5" in the search field then click the highlighted selection or press Enter to continue.
