You will see the following error message in H&R Block’s 2016 tax software if you entered one or more characters before your P.O. box number in the P.O. box field:
The P.O. box you entered doesn't seem to be valid. Only enter the number for the P.O. box. [error code: 297]
How do I fix this?
To correct the error, enter only the number of your P.O. box in the P.O. box field on the Your mailing address page or Your spouse’s mailing address page under the GET STARTED tab.
For example:
- Correct format: 34
- Incorrect format: P.O. box 34
