You will see the following error message in H&R Block’s 2016 tax software if, on the T4E: Statement of employment insurance and other benefits page, the percentage you entered in box 7 (Repayment Rate) was invalid:

The number you entered can’t be between 0 and 1. To enter 30%, for example, enter 30. Please correct your entry. [error code: 329]

How do I fix this? 

To correct the error, enter the repayment rate as a whole number (this number cannot be between 0 and 1) in box 7 of the T4E. For example, a repayment rate of 25% must be entered in the following format:

Correct: 25

Incorrect: 0.25

Note: To enter your T4E slip into the software, go to the QUICK ENTRY tab and click on the QUICK SLIP icon. Type "T4E" in the search field. Click the highlighted selection or press Enter to continue.
