You will see the following error message in H&R Block’s 2016 tax software if the number of days for which you're claiming the Manitoba primary caregiver tax credit is more than 365:
The maximum number of days you can claim for the Manitoba primary caregiver tax credit is 365. Please correct the number of days you entered. [error code: 249]
How do I fix this?
To correct the error, enter the correct number of days you provided voluntary care for a relative, friend, or neighbour residing in a private residence in Manitoba in H&R Block’s tax software. To do this, go to the Manitoba primary caregiver tax credit page located under the OTHER icon of the PREPARE tab.
