You'll see the following error message in H&R Block’s 2016 tax software if, when completing the RL-25: Income from a profit-sharing plan page, you entered an amount in box F (Taxable amount of eligible dividends and ordinary dividends) but did not enter an amount in box A1 (Actual amount of eligible dividends) OR box A2 (Actual amount of ordinary dividends):
Since you entered an amount in box F (Taxable amount of eligible and ordinary dividends) on the RL-25 page, you need to enter an amount in box A1 (Actual amount of eligible dividends) or box A2 (Actual amount of ordinary dividends), as shown on the RL-25 slip received. [error code : RQ194]
How do I fix this?
To correct the error, on the RL-25 page in the tax software, enter an amount in either box A1 (Actual amount of eligible dividends) OR box A2 (Actual amount of ordinary dividends), as shown on your paper RL-25 slip.
Note: To enter your RL-25 slip into the software, go to the QUICK ENTRY tab and click on the QUICK SLIP icon. Then, type "RL-25" or "relevé 25" in the search field and either click the highlighted selection or press Enter to continue.
