You'll see the following error message in H&R Block’s 2016 tax software if you have an amount owing to Revenu Québec and, on the Final Details page, you indicated that you will pay the taxes owed in the next 5 days but you didn't specify how you'll pay this amount:
Since you have tax owing for your Revenu Québec return, you need to choose how you'll pay the taxes you owe. [error code: RQ118]
How do I fix this?
To correct the error, select one of the following options to indicate how you'll pay the taxes owed:
- Cheque or money order to Revenu Québec
- Financial Institution
- Internet
