You'll see the following error message in H&R Block’s 2016 tax software if you indicated on form TP-350.1: Calculation of the deduction for residents of designated remote areas that the total number of days you lived in both a northern zone and an intermediate zone for which you're claiming a deduction, was more than 366 days:
The total number of days you designated as living in a northern zone and as living in a intermediate zone can't be greater than 366 days in total. [error code: RQ112]
How do I fix this?
To correct the error, enter correct number of days that you lived in a northern and an intermediate zone on form TP-350.1. The total number of days cannot be more than 366. You can find the TP-350.1 form under the OTHER icon of the PREPARE tab.
