You'll see the following error message in H&R Block’s 2016 tax software if you are a resident of Québec and you indicated that you had other employment income not reported on a T4 slip, but you did not provide a brief description detailing the nature of that income on the CRA/RQ questions page:
You need to provide a description for the other employment income entered in this return. [error code: RQ107]
How do I fix this?
To correct the error, provide a brief description of the type of employment income that you entered on the All other income page. To do this, click the CRA/RQ questions link under the OTHER icon on the PREPARE tab. Under the heading Revenu Québec questions, enter a description of the employment income in the designated field of the software.
