You will see the following error message in H&R Block’s 2016 tax software if you have entered a taxable CPP/QPP benefit amount in box 20 on the T4A(P): Statement of Canada Pension Plan Benefits page but did not indicate the number of months you received CPP/QPP disability benefits during the year in box 21:

You reported taxable CPP/QPP benefits in box 20 on the T4A(P) page, so you need to report the number of months of disability in box 21, as shown on the T4A(P) slip. [error code: 122]

How do I fix this?

To correct the error, refer to your T4A(P) slip and enter the correct values shown in box 20 and box 21 into the designated fields of the tax software. If you didn't collect CPP/QPP disability benefits, enter 0 in box 21.
