You will see the following warning message in H&R Block’s 2016 tax software if you have entered an amount that exceeds the maximum CPP/QPP pensionable earnings amount on the T4: Statement of remuneration page:

CPP/QPP pensionable earnings can’t exceed $54,900.00. Make sure you entered the amount shown in box 26 on the T4 slip correctly. [Warning]

How do I fix this? 

To correct the error, enter the correct amount found in box 26 of your T4 slip into the designated field of the tax software.
