Error Message 456: Email_address_must_match

You’ll see the following error message in H&R Block’s 2016 tax software if, on the CRA questions page, you registered to receive online mail from the CRA but you either didn’t confirm your email or it doesn’t match the one you entered in the first email field on the same page:

It looks like you want to register to receive online mail from the CRA and have entered your email on the CRA/RQ questions page under the OTHER icon. However, you either didn’t confirm your email or it doesn’t match the one you entered in the Email field on the same page. Let’s take a moment to go back and make sure that both email entries on this page match. [error code: 456]

 

How do I fix this?

To correct this error, return to the CRA questions page and make sure that entries in both the email fields on this page match. You can find the CRA questions page under the OTHER icon on the PREPARE tab.
